SUMMARY OF YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OPTIONS IN THIS SETTLEMENT: | |
Do Nothing and Receive a Payment | To receive a cash payment from the Settlement, you do not have to do anything. Your estimated Class Settlement Share is set forth in the Notice of Estimated Class Settlement Share enclosed with the Class Notice. After final approval by the Court, a payment will be mailed to you at the same address as the Notice. In exchange for your settlement payment, you will release claims against Google, as detailed in Sections 7 and 8 of the Notice. If your address has changed, you must notify the Settlement Administrator as explained in the Notice of Estimated Class Settlement Share. |
Exclude Yourself | To exclude yourself, you must send a written request for exclusion to the Settlement Administrator. If you request exclusion, you will not receive a Class Payment and you will not release the Released Class Claims. However, if you are a PAGA Settlement Group Member, you will still receive a PAGA Amount Payment and be bound by the release of the Released PAGA Claims. Instructions are set forth in Section 5 of the Notice. |
Object | Write to the Court about why you do not agree with the settlement or appear at the Final Approval Hearing to make an oral objection. Directions are provided in Section 8 of the Notice. |
